Schaeffler, the Motion Technology Company, has announced that Eric Steinbecher, president, Vehicle Lifetime Solutions, Americas, has been named Chairman of MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers Board, the association that serves manufacturers of the parts, chemicals, tools, diagnostics and technologies that keep vehicles running safely and affordably throughout their lifetime. His appointment reflects the association’s commitment to bringing together seasoned industry experts with a forward-looking vision for the aftermarket.
In this role, which consists of a two-year term and follows his term as First Vice Chair, Steinbecher will be responsible for driving progress within the industry and delivering impact across the supplier community. Steinbecher’s priorities for MEMA Aftermarket this year center on delivering tangible member value through clarifying and aligning on the aftermarket’s strategic North Star, strengthening advocacy and policy impact, upgrading board effectiveness and governance discipline, and positioning MEMA Aftermarket as the trusted industry convener.

Steinbecher is joined by Kevin Olsen, president and CEO at Dorman Products, who will serve as First Vice Chair of MEMA Aftermarket Suppliers, alongside additional members of the Board of Directors taking office in 2026. The Board’s expanded leadership team features individuals with deep expertise across the technology, distribution, heavy-duty and remanufacturing industries, and a keen understanding of the ever-changing global supply chain.
