Schaeffler’s eRocker System offers a unique and modular system for variability in the valvetrain to support the next generation of highly optimized internal combustion engines and hybrid powertrains. Supplemented by decades of experience and development, the eRocker System can be used for cylinder deactivation, valve deactivation, or special valve lift curves to achieve optimal combustion and system performance. As an integral part of the Schaeffler Smart OverRun System, which combines the eRocker System, Electric Cam Phaser, and a Belt Alternator Starter System, a cost-effective system solution is offered to reduce CO2 and pollutant emissions.
