The LuK toothed chain for the modern drive train

The toothed chain has many different applications. Whether used in transfer cases for four-wheel drive vehicles, in automatic transmissions or hybrid drive trains, the toothed chain can offer high torque transfer over great centre distances. Like the LuK CVT chain, the toothed chain is composed of several links that are dynamically connected to each other by means of cradle-type joints. The toothed chain sets itself apart through its quiet running, reduced weight and increased durability and resistance to wear.
The toothed chain has been developed with two different pitches for series production. The width of the chain can be varied to suit the end application.
