Mechanical toothed belt tensioning system according to the double eccentric principle

Mechanical toothed belt tensioning systems from INA are automatic tensioning systems with an integral damping function. The so-called double eccentric principle separates the tensioning and damping functions of the tolerance compensation system and can be precisely adjusted to the requirements of the specific toothed belt drive.

The tension pulleys used consist of single or double row ball bearings developed specially by INA for belt drive applications with, depending on the application, pulleys made from glass fibre-reinforced polyamide or corrosion-resistant steel.

Mechanical toothed belt tensioning systems from INA are automatic tensioning systems with an integral damping function. The so-called single eccentric principle simplifies fitting of the tensioning system on the assembly line and during service and can be precisely adjusted to the requirements of the specific toothed belt drive.

The tension pulleys used consist of single or double row ball bearings developed specially by INA for belt drive applications with, depending on the application, pulleys made from glass fibre-reinforced polyamide or corrosion-resistant steel.

The pulleys made from polyamide resistant to high temperatures are, due to the highly developed tooling and production technology, equal in terms of roundness and running characteristics to the steel pulleys used as an alternative.
