Hydraulic tappet

 

Special characteristics:

  • The tappet is directly activated
  • Very high rigidity

Tappet, standard design

  • Very small wall thicknesses using formed steel for the housing and guide funnel allow high fatigue strength and rigidity with small moving mass
 
 

Bottom drain tappet

  • Oil reservoir volume can be used better – improved functional behaviour during engine startup and running
 
 

Anti-drain tappet

  • While the engine is switched off, oil cannot flow out of the outer reservoir – this gives improved functional behaviour during engine startup and running.
 
 

Labyrinth tappet

  • Combination of anti-drain and bottom drain mechanisms
